Walking Through History: Inside the Musée National 

Spanning a sprawling 5000m², the museum unfolds across 30 rooms, each offering a unique window into the diverse facets of Cameroon's history and politics. Visitors are invited to embark on a journey through time and space, exploring the ten regions of Cameroon, their traditional attire, music, and instruments, as well as an array of artifacts and photographic archives that trace the nation's evolution.

A Treasure Trove of Artefacts: Unveiling Cameroon's Rich Heritage

The museum houses an assortment of unique pieces that once belonged to traditional leaders, objects imbued with magic and belief, and even the saxophone of the iconic musician, Manu Dibango. History pervades every corner of the Musée National is of African Art, from constitutional archives to rare photographs of dignitaries who have assumed official roles over time.

Revitalization and Renovation: The New Look of the Musée National du Cameroun

The grand reopening of the museum introduced several new elements to its existing repertoire. Majestic sculptures of a bygone queen and her subjects now grace the building's entrance.
