Yakubu oluwaseun Abdulkareem, born in 1996, hails from Edo state and grew up in Ikotun, Lagos Nigeria where he had his primary and secondary school education. He later went to Auchi Polytechnic,Auchi Edo state where he had his National Diploma in general arts(2017). He is currently studying for his Higher National Diploma(HND)  at the Yaba college of technology.

He grew up in a strict environment that didn’t support young people doing arts, but during his secondary school days he had an insight of what visual art is all about. So he started practicing using his snacks money to buy paper and water colour sets. During his one year IT(industrial training programme), he took the task to take some of his works to galleries for sale, and they were all bought by Signature Lagos.
